Lululemon Zen-Note Speaker
A deeper look into Lululemon's brand identity and values helped me design a new product that I think will be a successful addition to their market. Further understanding existing consumer demands helped influence my speaker design so it matches the expressions imbedded in their current product line.
My portable speaker is inspired by Japanese Zen Gardens and their concentric circle design. Lululemon promotes mindfulness (as the Zen gardens do) through their yoga athletic wear. My design is portable for users who are on-the-go and promotes shared mindfulness via shared music. The Zen-Note speaker is sleek (made of matte plastic and metal), high quality (both in design and sound), and aligns well with Lululemon's brand identity and aesthetics.

High quality products that feel good: most of Lululemon athletic wear are bright yet calming monochromes.
Key Demographic
Lululemon caters to men and women ranging from mid-teens to mid-thirties.
They are primarily yoga / fitness enthusiasts who value an active lifestyle.
Consumers are generally affluent as Lululemon products are high quality and on the more expensive side.

- Shape represents an abstract leaf (promoting outdoor exercise) and front face has a Zen Garden pattern around the Lululemon logo and main power button.
- Large back speaker for loud/clear sound
- Carabiner clip is detachable and secured to permanent ring integrated in the main design
- Large rubber foot base
- Simple buttons on top
- USB-C charging port and indicator lights on left side
- Metal frame for protection and durability - 3 colour variations
