Silver x Glaze Drop Collection

The Silver x Glaze drop gemstone collection follows a sustainability initiative where the inner cut outs of larger pieces are repurposed to create smaller works (such as earrings and rings) thus producing very little waste. All scraps and offcuts are also melted down to fabricate the wire components, and the glaze drop gemstones themselves are a form of 'waste' - created in a ceramic kiln when molten glaze melts off its ceramic body to create unique amalgamations of every colour used in the piece.

My glaze drop gemstone collection has been generously provided by ceramic artist, Michelle Mendlowitz, and are individually processed by myself. Each piece is hand fabricated from start to finish to accommodate the organic nature of the glaze drops.
